Nutty Broccoli Slaw

A different salad to try.  This is crunchy and nutty.

Nutty Broccoli Slaw

Ingredients

1 pkg. (3 oz.) chicken ramen noodles
1 pkg (16 oz.) broccoli slaw
1 cup sliced green onions (1 bundle)
1 1/2 cups broccoli florets
1 can (6 oz.) ripe olives, drained and halved
1 cup sunflower kernels, toasted
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup olive or vegetable oil

Directions

Set aside the noodle seasoning packet, crush the noodles.

Mix broccoli slaw, onions, broccoli, olives, sunflower seeds and almonds.

In a jar with a tight lid, combine sugar, oil, vinegar, and seasoning packet; shake well.

Drizzle dressing over salad.  Mix well.  Toss in crushed ramen noodles right before serving.
