Apple Crisp

A quick and easy apple crisp.  I love apple crisp in the Fall. 

Apple Crisp

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
6 apples, sliced
1/4 cup sugar or less
1/4 cup water

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

In a bowl, blend together the butter, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon.

Spread sliced apples in a 9 inch square pan.  Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar if apples are tart, less if sweeter apples.  Sprinkle with 1/4 cup water.

Spread the crumb mixture over the top of apples.  Press firmly.

Bake 40-45 minutes.
