I love ham balls but do not make them that often. This recipe is an easy and quick one to make.
Ham Balls
Ingredients
- 1 lb. smoked ground ham
- 1 1/2 lb. fresh ground pork
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup cracker crumbs
- 1 cup milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoon dry mustard (optional)
Directions
- Combine meat, eggs, cracker crumbs, milk, salt and pepper. Shape into balls. Place in roaster or 9X13 inch pan.
- Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a full boil. Pour over ham balls.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Can be covered for the first hour.
